My first attempt at taking wedding candid portraits... sounds pretty weird to have the words portraits and candid in the same sentence. but thats exactly what i did.
equipped with my newly acquired EF 24 to 105 mm 4L IS lens and Canon speedlite 580EX II, the results were much better than i expected.
i am not really a big fan of flash photography, probably because , traditionally most photographers just point and shoot the blinding flash directly at the subject, often flattening the image.
here i bounced the flash (thanks to the rotating flash head) off the ceiling which had a white roof and the result is seen here
