Day 7 : so here it was, our very last day! once again, our tour guide had informed us that we would be the only couple to go on the glass bottom boat ride as the other tourists had rescheduled their plans.
so effectively this turned out to be a very private , romantic date, with just me and my wife niki.
the Captain of the glass bottom boat was Mr. Guy (pronounced gee) who was also our tour guide cum chef cum entertainment for the next 3 hours.
we were picked up by our Select Seychelles tour designated driver (Jacques) and dropped near The Wharf Hotel, where we would meet our Captain Mr Guy.
Mr. Guy was telling us , how he was one of the oldest people to start The Glass Bottom Boat business in Seychelles and that he has been married thrice and has 8 kids, and his third wife was only 28 years old while he was pushing 60.
it was a pretty rough tide and i was really feeling very sea sick! a few days earlier i was on a catamaran and somehow i was a lot more comfy than sitting in this speed boat, which made me even more sick thanks to the very bumpy jumpy ride.
Mr. Guy on the other hand was extremely friendly and realized i was feeling sick and he slowed down the boat till i got comfortable. meanwhile we saw loads of colourful fish thanks to the glass bottom boat. Guy later gave us large chunks of bread which we used to feed a school of fish. the ride was cut short after i started feeling sea sick again and so we proceeded to our our private island for a all sea food BBQ

we then lazed around at the Wharf Hotel sipping on coffee while waiting for Jacques our driver to pick us up.
