The Seychelles Diaries - Day 6 - Scuba Diving

Scuba diving was something nikki was interested to do the very first day we landed in Seychelles! and the place we stayed at was called "Diver's Lodge" kept reminding her of scuba diving and we had "Big Blue Divers" for our immediate next door neighbours.
me on the other hand, well, am petrified of water, have always been, and so was not really keen to go scuba diving. when we met the instructor, i nearly signed up for scuba diving as well, but my senses prevailed and i decided not to enrol while nikki was jumping for joy!



on the day of the dive, day 6 in Seychelles, nikki was extremely nervous and was reflecting if she had made the right decision to go diving. i on the other hand decided to spend the time back at the lodge, watching the local tv soap opera and chill the entire afternoon sipping red wine.

when i did fall asleep in the afternoon, i had a gut feeling that something was not right. and few moments later, nikki comes back from her scuba diving and tells me that she couldnt go ahead coz she got sick!

the water was freezing cold (she hates cold) and the gear was heavy and even though she is a very good swimmer, she felt sea sick and so had to cancel the dive . we also managed to get 50 % refund :)

 we spent the remaining time at The Boat House restaurant, eating fish n chips and sipping on Guiness.

there was a very pretty girl named Alexandria who was serving our table and thats the last i remember of this day!
