The Pune dairies - Day 7 - Bye Bye Pune, Hello Mumbai

finished our breakfast at Vohuman cafe and prepared ourselves for the nearly 3 hour drive from Pune to Mumbai. we again thank our friends Colin at The 3 Hungry Men for arranging cab services to pick us and drop us safely from Pune to Mumbai, Borivali.

somewhere along the highway, we stopped over to pick up ...wait for it... for CHIKKI and the driver knew exactly where to take us.



it was like an oasis. in the middle of the express highway stood a massive food court, complete with KFC, McDonalds, veg restaurants, ice cream parlours and Chikki and sweets shops.

u see so many chikkis at one place, u wil either end up buying it or hating it. we did the former and packed at least 10 more smaller parcels of chikki to give friends and eat along the way.

the breakfast at Vohuman was pretty heavy and so after this pit stop for shopping chikki, we landed in Mumbai, borivali around 2:45 pm noon, right in time for home made pork and biriyani!

next 3 days spent in Mumbai, wont be blogging much about it as it was mostly spent with relatives, but will post about the restaurants we visited :)
