we had booked our hotel rooms in advance so we knew where we were going to stay. the 3 nights and 2 days we spent at Lords, cost us Rs 13,502/- (we paid the next day), which included breakfast, lunch and dinner with tea and cake being served in the morning and evening.

the hotel was quite comfy and the service was very nice. hot water is only available in the morning but they got us a bucket of hot water as we checked in at 5:30 pm evening and we were tired, hungry and needed to have a bath and have dinner.
at 8 pm we proceeded towards the dining hall

i had never tasted Parsi food before, but whatever we ate was really tasty. after dinner we decided to explore the streets of Matheran at night, as it was one of the safest tourist spots. we could see only couples almost everywhere and that was reassuring.

the place is filled with shops selling kolapuri slippers along with tons of leather shoes. we walked for a bit, ate sweet paan and decided to call it a night as we had been travelling the entire day and needed our much deserved rest.
