Dinoo's Coffee Shop, Mangalore

Dinoo's fast food, coffes shop, desserts and pastries.

easily one of the most popular hang out places in Mangalore. Dinoo's offers some of the tastiest pastries i have eaten till date. but for me the 'icing on the cake' (no pun intended) is actually not even cake, but the custard caramels that just melts in your mouth.

this is not really a review , so dont treat this as one. i am just enjoying the joys of walking around and clicking photos of things, places and people that interest me.

me and my fiancé and her best friend had finished lunch at another place called "Clay Oven" and we decided to pig out at Dinoo's to satisfy our craving for dessert. it took the auto rickshaw just 8 minutes to reach Dinoo's , which is located at Falnir and has become a landmark in itself.



easily the most popular hang out place/ coffee shop for youngsters in Mangalore. i fondly remember visiting the place in 1999 when my close friends from KMC college used to flock there whenever they had time to spare.

our association with Dhyan (Dinoo) dates back to nearly 4 decades. his mother Elaine, fondly called by everyone as "Cuckoo teacher" was tuition teacher to my brother and sister. Dinoo also vividly remembers carrying me as an infant!!! anyways now back to some more photos.

If u are a newcomer here (which i dont think is possible, unless you are visiting Mangalore for the first time, ) i highly recommend anything chocolate. i was tooo tempted to try out the 'chocolate in a cloud' but was afraid of getting addicted to it, so went back to gorging on the custard caramels. i managed to eat 5 of them that afternoon. and this was after a good meal which had veg pulav, chicken tikka kebab and creamy mutton soup.

FYI this is NOT a review of the place. i just happened to visit Dinoo's after a very long time and i always wanted to take a few pics with my camera. next time , preferably with my nifty fifty f 1.2 L prime lens.
