The Seychelles Diaries - Day 1 Landed in Seychelles!!

the flight from Dubai to Seychelles was about 4 hours. but it really felt longer! so the joy on our faces when the captain announced "we will be landing in Mahe shortly" was priceless! here we are finally in Seychelles!

i took a lot of photos using the 5d mark iii and ultra wide 17-40 lens from the window of the aircraft.

am pretty used to the landing and take off at Mangalore Airport which is considered one of the most dangerous table top runways in the world, but the International Airport at Mahe, Seychelles was way smaller. at least it seemed like that. An artificially created island bang in the middle of the ocean for aircrafts to land and take off!
the view was absolutely breath taking! there was just 1 more Indian couple, newly married, in the same flight with us. the rest were tourists from different nations and few seemed to be returning back home.

The immigration was a breeze since Visa is issued on arrival! the lady at the immigration was extra courteous since it was the first time we were visiting the country. we just had to show her the return tickets and the print out of the Hotel/Lodge we booked , as it mentions the duration of stay, and with a big smile, she stamped the visas on our passports!

Welcome To Seychelles !!!
